Fred Fay
Fred was raised in the Midwest in the city of Crystal Lake, Illinois . There he was very involved with a small Assembly of God church: “That’s were I got a real sense of what ministry was all about.” It was a place where everyone knew everyone else. That is where he felt a call to ministry and a passion for teaching Scripture to change people’s lives.
He graduated from Evangel University where he received a teaching degree. From there he was invited to teach at Life Christian School where he taught for four years. He began his pastoral ministry as the Children’s Pastor and then became the Inner-City Outreach Pastor of Super Club. For the last five years he has felt called to do three things: to teach, to help people get connected at the church, and ultimately to help people grow by being involved in small groups.
During his ministry, Fred received a Master’s degree in theology from Fuller Theological College. Pursuing this degree helped shape his interest in connecting people with the Lord and each other. His desire is to create environments where people are transformed in their spiritual life to be like Jesus Christ.
He is married to Pam who is the Director of Volunteers at Life Center. They have two children, Rebecca and Jessica, who attend Life Christian School.
