As we connect with other people, we must also be committed to more than fellowship and fun. Christ was never content with surface issues (unless He was walking on them). Neither should we be content to go through life simply observing what's happening around us. We must take action and dig deeper.

Getting to a deeper level of personal spiritual growth is never easy, but it is always worth the effort. Whether it's dedicating your new baby son or daughter to God as a sign that He is over your household, or getting involved in a small group and sharing a part of who you are, the end result is a deeper understanding of Christ and His love, which leads to greater and greater significance in everyday life events.
